A host of ghostly goings on are manifesting in York over Halloween from Saturday 24th October to Sunday 1st November, when the sixth York Ghost Festival takes place in a spirited celebration of the paranormal.

Paint the Town Pink in York this October

October is Paint it Pink Month for the Breast Cancer Campaign

Paint it Pink will see the Isle of Wight, Chester, Reading, York and Edinburgh go crazy for Pink in aid of the Breast Cancer Campaign.

York is making the most of being pretty in pink with groups organising and taking part in lots of exciting and fun events across the region right throughout the month of October.
