Established in March 2011 York Does Vintage is a truly fantastic, lively shopping event bringing you gorgeous vintage goodies, gems and bargains, a bustling vintage tearoom, lots of live music, hair and makeup girlies, nail and mini treatments bar, York’s Clothes Swap, bunting workshop and much much more including charity raffles, free goodie bags and LOTS OF vintage fun!
For 2012 we have taken York Does Vintage over to the grade 1 listed and scheduled ancient monument (drum roll please….) the (spectacular) Merchant Adventurers Hall of York. We couldn’t think of anywhere better to celebrate the success and expansion of YDV than the upstairs of this gorgeous, history infused, stunning timber framed Hall – featured in the top 10 attractions York has to offer on Trip Advisor! Furthermore, expect GRAND birthday gestures too as March sees York Does Vintage celebrate its FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!
There really is no need to look any further for the best vintage day out around as bargains start as soon as you step through the creaky 1300′s door, with a very affordable £1 entry for adults and ONLY 50p for students, plus you’ll be helping us one again support two worthy charities – The Alzheimer’s Society and local children’s charity, Snappy.
