I would like to recommend Mrs Rae Mould, who was the voluntary guide who took us on a walking tour of York on Saturday 3rd July. The tour was fantastic, and she was very informative and knowledgeable, and made our trip to York an enjoyable one. She really brought the city to life, and we discovered hidden gems of York we never knew about. We would like to express our thanks to Rae, and to recommend others to attend her tours.
Regards,
Joanne Irwin

We joined a free walking tour of York on Wednesday 8th February 2012 guided by Richard.
We would like to say that we thoroughly enjoyed the tour despite the freezing conditions. Richard was a very informative and entertaining guide – so much so that we felt it necessary to email to say how good we thought he was. We had a group of mixed nationalities and ages and Richard expertly gauged just the right level of detail and humour.
Thank you very much to the Association of Voluntary Guides for taking the time to run these free walking tours – a great service, much appreciated.
