About The Queens Hotel
The Queens Hotel is situated in the heart of the vibrant City of York on the banks of the River Ouse. All of York’s famous attractions are within walking distance.Superior rooms overlooking the river are subject to availability and should be requested direct with the Hotel prior to arrival. We charge an extra £10.00 per night for these rooms.The Hotel has limited car parking spaces a space must be reserved direct with the Hotel prior to arrival if required to avoid disappointment. The cost per night is £10.00. When the Hotel car park is fully booked an alternative is recommended approx 4 minutes from the Hotel. The cost per 24 hours is £10.00.The Hotel has a Restaurant which serves breakfast and dinner daily. The cost for a Full English breakfast is £7.75 per person Dinner is charged individually with a main course dish priced from £7.50.The Hotel bar is open from 6.00 pm until 12 midnight and the lounge overlooks the River. (Please note that limited menus will be available during Christmas and New Year peiod. Pre booking of evening meal is essential during this period).The Queens Hotel does not accept single sex groups. All public areas (including lounge and balcony) in the Hotel are non smoking. Smoking bedrooms can be requested at the time of booking. Requests are subject to availability.

How to Get to The Queens Hotel
From the North:From the A1 to A59 to City Centre pass through City Walls through first set of traffic lights at second set of lights turn right into Skeldergate and first left to the Hotel entrance.Or from the A19 cross the outer ring road (A1237) into York passing the Theatre Royal. Turn right at the traffic lights over the Lendal Bridge to the next set of lights. Turn left into George Hudson Street. Turn left at the next lights and first right into Skeldergate. Take your first left to the Hotel entrance.From the South:M1M18 Junction 2 to A1(M) to A64 to A1036 sliproad to City Centre. Pass through City Walls through first set of traffic lights at the second set of lights turn right onto Skeldergate and take your first left to the Hotel entrance.Don’t forget to book your Hotel Car Parking Space.
