YorkBoat – York City Cruise
Welcome aboard the YorkBoat City Cruise, York’s longest established cruise operator.
Departing from boarding points both within and outside the city, there are many cruise options available during daytime and evening, with trips to the city centre and York’s environs.
After a few days of busy sightseeing, there’s nothing more relaxing than watching historic York and its inhabitants slip past from the peaceful vantage point of the river, whilst enjoying a drink from the bar and listening to a live commentary.
Departure times from Kings Staith Landing:
10.30am, 12noon, 1.30pm and 3.00pm
Departure times from Lendal Bridge Landing:
10.40am, 12.10pm, 1.40pm and 3.10pm
Additional sailings throughout the day approximately every 30 minutes run from April to October.
Alternatively, set off on a voyage of discovery on the Bishopthorpe Palace Cruise: an hour long journey with a commentary from the Captain himself, to the 13th century Bishopthorpe Palace, home of the Archbishops of York since 1241.
The Time Tour is a voyage through the past, setting sail from the beginning of April to the end of October. The cruise is suitable for all ages and offers a light-hearted, one-hour romp through history with stories that may sometimes verge on the gruesome but always entertain and surprise!
Cruising has many pleasures, so what are you waiting for?
