Hazel Court Household Waste Recycling Centre
You can take asbestos to the Hazel Court Household Waste Recycling Centre; if you plan on taking asbestos make sure it is double wrapped in strong plastic and ask for assistance from the site attendant on arrival.
Fridges and freezers can also be deposited at Hazel Court.

8.30am – 7.00pm Monday to Saturday and 8.30am – 4.00pm Sunday, April to September.

Towthorpe/Strensall Household Waste Recycling Centre
The Towthorpe/Strensall Centre is larger than Beckfield Lane but not quite as big as Hazel Court.
Towthorpe/Strensall Household Waste Recycling Centre recycles paper, cans, shoes, textiles, car oil, fluorescent tubes, plastic bottles, metal and garden waste among other items.
Fridges and freezers can be deposited at Towthorpe/Strensall recycling centre.
Opening times:
8.30am – 5.00pm daily, March.
8.30am – 7.00pm April to September.
8.30am – 5.00pm October.
8.30am – 4.00pm November to February.
