The York Maze

 
The York Maze is one of the main attractions in the York area for outdoor children activities.
 
The largest maze in the country is made out of over 1.5 million living plants; it never gets boring at the York Maze, because every year the design of the maze changes, baffling visitors of all ages.
 
If you or your family manage to get through the maze, using the clues and solving the puzzle, you have the chance of winning a prize.  
 
Next to the York Maze is an animal farm offering tractor rides, trailer rides and animal petting. There are also water and sandy areas for children to play around and to give parents the chance of relaxing. Grilled lunches, a coffee shop and a seating area are there to help you regain your energy!

How To Find The York Maze

By Bus: The 195 service from East Yorkshire motor services runs from the War Memorial (near the train station) in York. York maze is not listed on the timetable, but is the stop before the Air Museum when coming from York, just let the driver know and he will stop at York Maze for you.

By Car: Elvington Lane is the B1228 near York, off the A64. From York city centre, follow the A1079 Hull Road to the A64 Junction.

Copmanthorpe Panda Playgroup: Baby & Toddler Sessions

Babies and toddlers have now a great place to play and meet new friends!
 
There are two Sticky Mitt sessions per week and are suitable for 18 months and older: at Panda Play Group, younger children have a chance to paint, stick and do messy stuff that parents try to avoid at home! A variety of great toys and many, many friends and lots of space are waiting for parents and their children living around York.

 
Tuesday is Tiny Tots’ day, suitable for children from newborn upwards. Small babies are welcomed, and activities for older siblings are also arranged. What better way to meet parents of children of similar ages – making new friends while sipping a cup of coffee.

Sticky Mitts is run on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9.15am – 11.15am

These sessions are for children aged 18 months and over.
 
Tiny Tots is run on Tuesdays from 9.15am – 11.15am

These sessions are ideal for any babies from new-borns upwards.

Creepy Crawlies Adventure Playsite

 
Creepy Crawlies is the largest play area in North Yorkshire, covering over 70,000 sq ft. with both indoor and outdoor play opportunities.

 
The Creepy Crawlies has rapidly become one of the main points of attraction for kids of all ages.

 
The wonderful landscape is cleverly organized with all sorts of fun and educational activities, including a Jungle Bridge, Petting Farm, Go-Carts, Pedal Toys, Slides, Climbing Frames, a Toddler and Baby area with Ball Pool and Snooze Bags and lots more!

Creepy Crawlies Playsite is open every day from 9.30am – 7.00pm, with Thursdays late opening until 9.00pm. (Closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day)
